Email forwarding not working.

    Hello! Today I requested that (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) get forwarded to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    Although it shows as confirmed on wordpress.com, when I try to sent test emails they don’t get through. I get a ‘Return to Sender’ message.

    You have some Google Apps mail DNS records saved here:
    https://lyndismith.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=lyndismith.com

    If you delete all of that, and save, then you’ll be able to use the email forwarding feature as described here:
    Email Forwarding

    Before you do that, though, where are you seeing this as confirmed on your end? I logged into your account and do not see any option for email forwarding, but I ran across another report of this earlier today, and I’m wondering if something is showing on your end that shouldn’t be. If you could make a screenshot of what you’re seeing, that’d be really helpful. Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

    You can upload it to your blog’s Media Library and I can look at it there.

    Thank you for your response.

    In my post, WordPress automatically included the phrase “the blog I need help with is lyndismith.com”. I do not need help with that blog.

    I am managing 5 blogs. The one I need help with is madhalfhourtheatre.com. This is the one with the email forwarding problem.

    Ah, that explains that. :)

    It looks like you accidentally set up for info@@madhalfhourtheatre.com instead of (email visible only to moderators and staff), so that one you’ll want to remove and fix the typo.

    I just sent an email to the other and it appeared to send fine on my end. Did you get it? If not, please check your junk/spam.

    Thank you for that. I have changed the typo.

    I received your test email.

    My five test emails myself (from my gmail address to (email visible only to moderators and staff)) never made it. This address is the same as the one for the redirection destination.

    I tried from both Macmail and my online Gmail account.

    But it seems to work fine when I send a test email from a completely different email account altogether.

    I guess the problem was that I was sending from the same email address to redirect towards, right?
