Email forwarding to a group

Is it possible to use a single email address to forward to more than one individual email? ie an email sent to membership@….. would be forwarded to two different addresses.
Is it just a case of setting up a forward and entering multiple emails seperated by commas?

I think this is a question for your email provider’s support pages, not WordPress.com. There’s no facility on WP.com for forwarding emails that I know of.

My mistake. There you just taught me something new :)
It doesn’t seem that way if I look at the support doc. You can set up five separate forwards, but it doesn’t seem like you can set up one forward to send to multiple email addresses. But that you’ll be able to do via your email client: Set up the forward on WP.com to send mails to one email address, and then set up that email account to automatically forward emails from the WP.com address to additional addresses.
You realise you’ll need a custom domain to do any of this? It’s not possible with your current free URL.
