Email from old domain is not working.

  The email connected to our old host does not work since we have mapped it to wordpress. According to my tech person the email linked to our host since we changed our DNS to wordpress the issues with out email have to be handled by wordpress. Is there something we can do to get our domain hosted email to work again?
