email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) ?

  Hi, I am received an email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) for domain activation.
  just want to be sure that this is officialy from wordpress:

  “We noticed that you need to verify your email address. To do so, simply click the button below. You will not be asked to log in to your WordPress.com account — we are simply verifying ownership of this email address.

  Without timely verification, you can’t fully manage your domain, and we’ll be required to put any hosted content on hold”

  Can I trust, or not ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy,

  That is from our domain provider, so it’s okay. It does seem odd, I admit, so I’ve asked our store team to look if there’s a way to make this “look” better. :-)

  We’re working that angle—since it is from the domain provider, we’re limited on what we can change.

  We’re also working on adding a head’s up when buying a domain that the e-mail verification will be coming too.
