Email fwding broken when DNS changed; how do I restore DNS values?

My goal was to point my wordpress-registered domain to a new blog at a non-wordpress site. I followed the instructions to edit the A-record and change the nameservers. It worked, but it also broke the wordpress forwarding of my domain email (which I foolishly didn’t think of).

My goal now is to restore email forwarding functionality ASAP. I can transfer the domain later to get the website working, but I can’t have no email for a week.

I have restored the wordpress nameservers, but I’m not sure of the originaly WP A-record for my blog, or if that’s what matters here. Is there any way to restore my wordpress email forwarding?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update: instead of bouncing back, emails sent to that domain now just disappear. I’m not sure if this is an improvement or not, but now the sender has no way of knowing that emails aren’t being delivered.
