email hosting in yahoo

  Hello,

  I would like to know if it is still not possible to have email hosting in yahoo as in your page below:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-yahoo-small-business/

  Is the page up to date ?

  Hi!

  It doesn’t look like this is possible yet if your domain is registered at WordPress.com. I read through their support document here:

  https://help.yahoo.com/kb/yahoo-domains/SLN18083.html?impressions=true

  Basically, they’re asking you to point your name servers to Yahoo instead of WordPress.com. Name servers are like directions that tell your domain where to look for information. For your domain to work correctly, those ideally need to stay pointed to WordPress.com.

  There is a potential workaround wherein you point your name servers to Yahoo as the instructions describe. Then, you insert what’s called an A record at Yahoo to point your domain back to WordPress.com. This is a pretty convoluted process and could lead to some issues down the road.

  Would it be possible for you to use another provider listed here?
