Email Hosting with GoDaddy via WordPress.com wizard stikll not working?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a wordpress.com blog with custom domain “digitalnavarra.net”. I wanted to have an email address of (email visible only to moderators and staff), so i purchased email hosting with GoDaddy 3-4 days ago.

I then went to my WP admin dashboard and then domain settings and then add email. I have clicked godaddy as the provider and it says DNS setings have been changed and will take effect in under 72 hrs.

I have been checking set up of email hosting at GoDaddy every day but in email management part of the site, it still has no details of my wordpress.com domain. Thus i cannot set it up yet?

Can you help? What am i doing wrong?

    thanks

    Hey there,

Your domain, digitalnavarra.net, is currently setup for email hosting through Google Apps. Google Apps for Your Domain is free for up to ten users, and provides you with Gmail-style access to your domain’s email.

If you’d like to set everything up with Google Apps, head to the custom DNS page in your blog’s dashboard, then click the “verification code” link and finish setup.

If you’d rather setup email hosting with GoDaddy, let me know, and I’ll help you get that configured.

    Best,
    P.

thanks…i set up google apps today as was easier and did not realise it was free. I deleted DNS / MX edits for godaddy and have gone with Google – all working fine now.

    Cheers for the offer though
