  I hope the email you sent with the stupid big wine-colored box that was simply a template and not something I could work, with is not what people see when they look for my site which is my first and last name, dot com. I hired a web designer to create the website and it has nothing to do with that template. Can it be deleted?

  Only emails send from @Wordpress.com are send by wordpress.com. So check this first.

  It is from (email visible only to moderators and staff) but it’s signed The WordPress Team. When I reply to their email it comes back as unsent.

  Everyone can sign with the wordpress team or whatever. That’s a common trick used by spammers.
