Email id to be changed in contact form

  The contact form picks up the email I log in through. I need to change the same. Once I tried changing the same. However, it shows pending request for many days now. Do not know how to change the email id shown by default on the contact page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The email ID shown on the contact form field is relative to each user. It will not be the same for everyone.

  When a user is logged in to his/her WordPress.COM account, it will show their email ID. If they are not logged in, there will be nothing shown at all.

  To check this you can view you site in private/incognito mode.

  If you already knew all of the above, and just want to update/change the email address associated with your account, then you can do that by going to your account settings: https://wordpress.com/me/account

  NOTE: Once the email ID for your account has been changed, it will be updated on the contact page as well.

  Are you referring to the email address that appears in the form when you are looking at it while logged in to WordPressdotcom or the email address that the contact form should send the feedback?

  If the first, the contact form is pre-filled with your account information when you are logged in. When I look at the form, my details appear there. You can test this by logging out or looking at the contact form in a different browser where you are not logged in to WordPressdotcom.

  If you want to change the email address where the contact form result/feedback is sent, you can change this in the contact form itself following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/forms/contact-form/#notification-preferences
