Email issue

  Hi,

  I am not sure who to contact to help me, I’ve spoken to Squarespace google and now will ask you guys for help as the last email I recieved said I should speak to my origonal domain host.

  The issue is that I created a website using WordPress and the correlating domain associated with WordPress. I then later decided to host the website using squarespace so deleted my website with wordpress but the domain couldn’t be transferred for 90 days so I redirected it for a while. We made a Google workspace email account that worked for about a year. Now its saying our 14 day trial has ended and I can’t get back into the account without paying for it which shouldn’t be the case as I’ve payed for a free year with my squarespace account.

  Just wondering if you guys have any ideas as to why this has happened and how it can be resolved.

  I should clarify first, we aren’t the registrar. You transferred the domain out in January.

  For what it’s worth, though, do you want to keep the Google Workspace email and the Squarespace site on the same domain? It should be possible; you’d just need to pay for both. I know you can certainly have a WordPress.com site and Google Workspace on the same account. It looks like that’s how you have it set up, in fact, so you’d just need to pay for the Workspace account.

  If regaining access to that isn’t as important as having an email address, and you don’t need the full Workspace account, there certainly are other email options out there that cost a little less. We have one here for example:

  I’d imagine Squarespace has options, too. I’m sorry you’re bouncing between them and Google, but I hope this information helps a bit! If I were in that situation, I’d move the site back here of course ;) But I’d also just go ahead and pay for Workspace, or choose another email provider, and ask my host for help setting that up.
