  I totally understand how to add a link to a post or page in the visual/html text editor, but how do I add an email link?

  you add an email link like this:

  <a href="mailto:(email visible only to moderators and staff)">contact me</a>

  However, is recommended to not do it like that because it’d be very easy for spam bots to harvest it. To avoid getting your email address harvested, it’s recommended that you encode your email or use an image to display it.

  I didn’t know that was your web app! I recommend it all the time – and I ALWAYS use it when I put an email addy on a blog. Great application!
