  This sounds like an incredibly dumb question, but how do I get an “Email this” link to appear at the end of each post? And even more basic — why is there no “Email me” widget in the WordPress widget menu? Thanks!

  We don’t support that feature at the moment. We might in future.

  If you want people to be able to contact you via email, you can put the code in a text widget (best obscured so spammers don’t pick it up) or just use a Contact Form on a contact page. Instructions for the Contact form are here:

  This works as well:
  <a href="mailto:?subject=Hello%20again&body=http://wordpress.com">Email This to a friend</a>
  Replace the http://wordpress.com with the link to your post, and then replace the “Email This to a Friend” with the text you wish. You could also do it with an image if you wished by adding the img src stuff to it.
