  Hello,
  I am looking into the email list on WordPress. I am not sure how it works. If people give me their email are they automatically notified when I make a new blog post? Or is it simply for taking people’s email addresses to have them in case you want to reach out?

  One an individual is subscribed, they will receive all of your posts as soon as they are published.

  We do not currently provide a way to reach them outside of that.
