  I would like to build an email listserv through mail chimp and import it into my wordpress.com site. I would also like to install google analytics so that I can learn from the traffic patterns. Is this possible to do?

  Hey Amanda,

  Unfortunately, neither of those actions is possible on a WordPress.com site. However,
  you can build an email list by collecting your visitor’s contact information with a form:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

  Or, you can create a widget that links to your MailChimp sign up page (at the MailChimp site):
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/create-your-own-widget/

  Regarding statistics, we do offer a great deal of tracking statistics on your stats page. Here is information about how to utilize that page:
