Email list bombing

  In the past couple of months I have received many new subscribers. Normally that would be good news, but the email addresses are nonsensical. I am concerned that it is simply list bombing. What does WordPress have in place to prevent list bombing?

  If those email addressess are @outlook.com: this is a known issue and staff is working on it. For further information, see https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/weird-followers/
