  Hi. My email in my settings is (email visible only to moderators and staff) I have not logged on to finish this blog I started in 2012 (yup). We stopped when funding ran out to pay for the students working on the content. Okay, we are back in business for a day or two, editing the audio files. Then we plan to finally make it public. Meanwhile, I do not work at Brown U anymore and my new email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). It said, when I tried to change my email in Settings, that that email exists already. Help. I have another email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) but when I changed it in Settings it said that it would confirm this change by emailing me (but it was going to email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) I assumed and that no longer works as I’m no longer employed there and have no access to my old email. So, HELP!!! (I’m writing from my account, so I was able to log into my account, thank heavens. )

  Hello!

  There is already an account with this email address – (email visible only to moderators and staff) – so you won’t be able to change it to that, as you’ve already discovered. However you can use the slc.edu email address.

  Go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and type in the new email address then save the settings. The confirmation email will go to the new email address rather than the old one. Have a look in your spam folder if you can’t find it.
