email login
-
I just saw a notice that someone had signed in to my account with an email login. IT WAS NOT ME! I noticed that my website address had been changed from taketworedefininglife.com to taketwoliferedefined.com. I changed it back, and disabled email login. What else do I need to do?

Hi there
I am adding
modlooktag to this thread for staff intervention. Please keep patience while someone from support staff gets back to you.
I’d suggest changing your Account Password, make sure you use a strong password and Enable 2 Step Authentication Here’s how you do that:
For more information, please read our Security support document.
Hope this helps!
Thanks!

Hi there,
I don’t see any recent email logins on your WordPress.com account.
The only way someone would be able to log in that way is if they also had access to your email account, so if you believe an unauthorised email login has taken place you should immediately change the password for your email account, and also enable two-factor authentication on both your email and WordPress.com accounts.
Additionally, the site you mention is not hosted on WordPress.com. That site is connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin, but that only allows management of site content and notifications. There is no way that someone can change the site’s domain via the Jetpack connection in your account with us, and the site is still listed on our end as
taketworedefininglife.com.A change like that could only be made at your hosting provider, Hostgator.com, so please contact them for help with this instead.
