Email not working

  Hi Everyone,

  I have email set up with crazy domains. I have recently set up my wordpress site (commitmentfitness.com.au) form what i can see I have set this end up correctly, have re directed from my crazy domains end (using the ns1. etc coding) and not sure if my custom DNS settings are correct as my email has stopped working. Any suggestions?

  Hi there,

  To keep your email with Crazy Domains working, you will need to add the DNS records for their email service to your domain on this end. We have a guide to Add Email through other providers that talks more about that process.

  Can you please contact Crazy Domains to find out what DNS records you need for their email service? You can use a message like this:

  I am updating my domain commitmentfitness.com.au to point to WordPress.com’s name servers, to use it with a website hosted there. Could you please provide me with the complete MX and/or other DNS records I will need to enter on WordPress.com’s end, so that my email on this domain will function?

  Once you have those DNS records from Crazy Domains, I’d be happy to help you enter theme here at WordPress.com so you can keep using their email service. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

  your help would most defiantly be appreciated thanks!
  Here is what i got :)

  If you will update the Name Servers and point this elsewhere you have to provide our Mail records to your new name server provider.

  Mai Records

  MX record
  commitmentfitness.com.au —–>> mail.commitmentfitness.com.au
  Mail A record
  mail.commitmentfitness.com.au —–>>203.170.82.97

  CNAME Record

  commitmentfitness.com.au ——>> mail.mail.au.syrahost.com
  Propagation time is 2-4 hours. Maximum Propagation time is 24 hours. Should you seek further clarification, please do not hesitate to call or email us back whenever necessary as you are our utmost value Rebecca.

  Hi there,

  Sure thing! I added those records to your domain. You can find those in the domain manager, by clicking the “Edit” button next to your domain on the My Domains page.

  Now, you can point your domain back to WordPress.com by changing its name servers back to these:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  It will take some time (sometimes up to 72 hours) for that change to take full effect, but it’s now set up for your email service to keep working after that change.
