  email notifications is not sending. when I click verify on the WordPress website, it has (email visible only to moderators and staff). so I think the full stop is what is making it not send. In my settings where you put in your email address in the account settings it hasn’t got the dot at the end.

  Hi there. Have you checked your spam/junk folder? If you use a Gmail address, the verification email might also be in the Social tab of the inbox.
