We want to publish a post, but we don’t want it to be emailed to our subscribers AT ALL. We have a hard copy invite with a QR code that will take those invited to this (soon to be) published page with a video and more info.
We don’t want to email all of our subscribers because not all of them are invited/can’t invite everyone. We know that they might see this post in the future, but we don’t want to draw a lot of attention to it. I know it’s weird. But is there a way to disable the email subscribers when we post something?

There’s not really a way to publish a post and not have it go out to your users, unless you make it private, but then your users won’t have access to the post. Administrators and editors would be the only ones who could see private pages.
As an alternative, you can create a page and you can include the link to that page in any of your material.
Here’s the difference between posts and pages, just to avoid any confusion :)
