  Weird email notifications: in three comment notifs this a.m., the sender was the same blooger (I follow her blog), but the comments were from three different bloggers. I have screenshots.

  That indicates that you inadvertently clicked the link to be notified of all comments submitted on that post. Click the “unsubscribe” link at the end of the email you receive. Or un-check the box to unsubscribe here:

  Nope, that’s not it. I am all to familiar with that.

  There were three separate notification emails showing the same sender in each. But each email was for a comment from different people, and not one of them was from the sender as shown in the email header. pretty amazing, really.

  It doesn’t really matter–it’s just weird. Thanks for trying.

  that tag is incorrect over on the right–it’s not about stopping comment notifications.
