email notification does not display correctly

Hello, I have strange html text appearing under images in the email notification body. I have not changed my posting process. Is there a WordPress issue or am I doing something wrong? Here is an example of what appears:

    ” data-medium-file=”http://saciart.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/w_mg_4388_1.jpg?w=300″ data-large-file=”http://saciart.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/w_mg_4388_1.jpg?w=800″ />

    HI!

Could you take a screenshot of how this text appears in the email message and upload it to your Media Library so I can take a look?

Also, has this been appearing only on certain posts or on all of your post notifications? Lastly, is this only happening in a certain email program (Mail on Mac vs. Gmail.com for instance) or across all email programs?

Hello, I took a screen shot and uploaded it to my media library. This occured for about 4 days in a row (on this blog and on a second one), but I just made a post now and it was normal, without problems. I noticed the text on both MAC and PC, using both Gmail and AOL email programs.

    Thank you for your support.

Thanks for the screenshot! Could you let me know if it appears on your emails over the next few posts? I just signed up to follow your blog so I could check this out as well.

Hi, it has not happened since on the SACI-ART.com blog, but it has happened again on my personal blog: art925.wordpress.com.

Hello – Yes, the text also appeared once again in the subscription email for SACI-ART.com If you have an email address, I can forward it to send… thank you.

    Hi!

I received the email, and it does appear a bit messed up on my end as well. I tried to reproduce this by creating a gallery with a caption in the Imbalance 2 theme on a test site, but I was unsuccessful. For some reason, the images have quite a bit of extra data attached to them. Could you let me know how you’re editing them before uploading them to WordPress.com or what device they’re coming off of?

HI, I am editing the images in Photoshop to 72 dpi from a MAC. On both sites that I am having problems, 2 different themes are being used and I have not changed anything from how I have always inserted the images, yet this is a new problem. Thanks.

Thanks for clarifying! I tried to reproduce this with the same theme and a different image, but the image came through normally in the email. Could you try uploading an image to a post without first putting it through Photoshop to see if that makes a difference?

    Hello,
I am still having problems with this issue in the email notifications. I have not yet tried to upload without using Photoshop because I need to process each image and reduce the dpi. What do you suggest?
    Thank you.

To help us narrow down the issue, it would really help if you could try this without using Photoshop for one post. Is there a post coming up that you could try posting without adjusting the image in Photoshop somehow? If the image comes through fine, we can then look at what might be causing the issue during the editing process.
