Email notification for comments

  Hi there,

  I am just trying to setup email notification for comments on the Abundance Manchester website;
  http://abundancemanchester.wordpress.com/

  I can see that in the help file this should be easy through enabling email notification on the settings> discussion page, but I can’t fidn this at all when I am logged in.

  Is this a feature that is only available for some wordpress accounts?

  It looks like you now have set up both rss feed and the check-box for readers to subscribe to comments.

  settings> discussion is correct:
  Scroll down to see this list:
  Comment Reply Via Email
  √ Enable sending comment replies via email
  Subscribe To Comments
  √ Show a ‘subscribe to comments” option in the comment form
  Subscribe To Blog
  √ Show a ‘subscribe to blog’ option in the comment form

  Hi,

  Thank you very much for your response. My problem is that I can’t find where the ‘settings > discussion’ page is. Should it be on the left hand side bar? My only options there are ‘posts’, ‘media’, ‘links’, ‘pages’, and ‘comments’, followed by ratings polls and tools.

  For the moment I would just like to set it up so that I get an email when a comment is made..

  It sounds to me like you’re not the Administrator of that blog, just an editor. Only the Admin can set that up.
