email notification for replies to Comments

  This might have been asked before and possibly answered as well in which case I would appreciate if you could point me to the thread.

  So I am curious if there is a global setting which allows me to recieve email Notifications for replies to comments I made on *other* blogs. I am aware of the check box to do that on a per message basis but i find it counter intuitive. Instead of choosing which replies i am interested in, I might be interested in knowing when and what somebody replied to my comment hence the check box should be opt–out and not opt-in. Is this something that the team is aware of and we might see soon ?

  Is there any other way of seeing all the comments you make (on other blogs) and their replies. The Menu ‘Comments I’ve made’ is limited to the last few threads.

  Hi Abu. To my knowledge, you must check the box on the other person’s blog to receive comments and there is no other way to enroll once you submitted your comment.

  Of course, you can bring your suggestion to WordPress.com (either the Ideas forum or by contacting them when the form reopens on Monday).

  Thanks. Yes I am looking for a ‘global setting’ not a per message setting. Are u suggesting this is not the right forum to request ?
