Email notification of followers of blog postings – wanting to lessen text

  When my followers receive an email of a post on my blog, I don’t want the entire post to appear in their email. I’d like them to have to click a link to my blog to read the entire post. How do I change that?

  Andie,

  You can use the “More” tag to do this. :) Read about it here:

  Just insert the tag after the first paragraph or so, and then email subscribers will need to click through to the actual site to read the rest.

  That said, note that this may affect the layout of your theme though (i.e. posts on the front page will be truncated with the more tag as well, and not show the entire thing until you click through).
