Email Notification of Pending Posts

    Hi all. I recently added a new contributor to my blog, and as such I, as administrator, need to approve those posts before they are actually posted.

    Now, my questions is this: is there any way for me to receive an email telling me that there is a post waiting for approval? Just like it does for comments?

    I posed this question to wordpress a couple of weeks ago. I was advised that it is not currently an option.
