Email notifications

    My blog is no longer sending email notifications to subscribers when i publish a new post. How can that be fixed?

    I subscribed to a blog by entering my email address via the “follow” button, but do not receive any notification of the publication of new posts.

    I know there are new posts because I know the blog author who created the blog.
    The blog author does not understand why I am listed in “Email Subscribers” but not receiving any notifications.

    , of what site are you speaking? I see only one site in your account, https://eesmerio.wordpress.com/, and you have no posts published on that site.

    To investigate this we’ll also need to know the email addresses of two or three people who aren’t receiving emails for new posts on your site.

    , of what site are you speaking? The account you used to post here is not subscribed to email post notifications for any site on WordPress.com. You enabled email notifications for your own site, https://dharmaodharma.wordpress.com/ around 19 hours ago, at which point we sent you a confirmation email, but it looks like you’ve since disabled that again.

    Currently your account follows only that site and one other in the Reader only, and nothing via email.

    I don’t understand why my “Email-only Followers” don’t get any email notification of my new posts.

    These are some of the email addresses that are not receiving the notifications:
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  • @dhaodha, what new posts are you referring to? Your latest post was published three weeks ago.

    Also, I’ve checked and saw that both your email subscribers are able to receive your posts via email. If they do not, tell them to check their email’s spam folder.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Actually I had posted a draft, and maybe there was a problem with that.

    So I created a copy of the content and post it with “Add new” and it worked (one of my email subscribers told me).

    WP staff is very reactive, many thanks!

  • Sorry about that @eesmerio!

    I can confirm that neither email address has received an email for your site since July 6.

    It appears you’re using Jetpack 8.6.1. Is there any improvement after upgrading to Jetpack 9.0.2?
