I am once again not getting email notifications and posts from whyevolutionistrue.
After many years of subscribing successfully, I am suddenly not receiving the emails. This happened also a couple of months ago when I had somehow been “blacklisted” for no reason. Please help! -

If the email is not in your inbox, it’s a problem on your email provider’s end.

Yes I think that makes sense in this case. I can confirm that we are still successfully sending updates from whyevolutionistrue.com to your email address. Here is the most recent 5 I see listed in our email logs
— [New post] Here are the leaf mimics!
— [New post] Spot the leaf insects!
— [New post] “We’re located on Dakota land”
— [New post] The NYT’s tedious article on cancel culture
— [New post] Readers’ wildlife photosPlease ask your email provider if they can locate these emails (by their subject line) as we are definitely not showing any error messages or “bouncebacks” for these messages. They seem to be accepted by your email provider without issue.

Thank you jerrysarcastic. I have rec’d exactly 2 weit emails in the past week, the latest being “Editors of Princeton.” This is so random. I should have gotten maybe 50. Back to calling sympatico…

Can you possibly switch my WP sites to send to (email visible only to moderators and staff) instead of (email visible only to moderators and staff)? Or maybe to both?

That’s not something specifically we can change, but you can unsubscribe and re-subscribe with the desired email.

Today it’s not even coming to my gmail acct, but a friend said gmail was having issues today.

Hm, it looks like at some point you blocked us from sending all WordPress.com subscription emails to you.
To fix that:
1. Log out of WordPress.com at https://wordpress.com/me
2. Visit https://subscribe.wordpress.com and enter your email address.
3. You will be emailed a link where you can manage your subscriptions, then on the “Settings” tab, uncheck “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com.”
This will only work if you’re logged out of WordPress.com.
