email notifications

It seems WordPress.com has changed some from the HELP provided in the support menu. I cannot find how to disable email notifications (I am already notified through my iOS app of what happens with my blog – I don’t need it again!).
Any thoughts?
This is what I found, but it is not helping:

Hi there, if you want to disable activity notifications, then Settings -> Discussion should do it. You can see and edit activity notification options under “E-mail me whenever”.

Hi there,
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/Blog notifications for the admin functions (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your posts, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
