Email notifications

Hello,
People that are subscribed to our blog automatically get an email notification when a new post is available. Sometimes our viewers say they cannot view everything (pics/slideshows) through that email and they don’t realize they missed things until they go directly to http://www.jkbadventures.com later on. I was wondering if there is a way to modify the automatic email to something more basic with a link to the site instead of showing the body of the post. We have older people following our blog and I don’t think they are seeing everything because they only read the email that is sent out. I think it would be better for the auto email to say the title of the new post and then when they click on it, it should go directly to the website.
Thanks,
JKB

Hi JKB,
One option to consider is implementing the More tag in your posts, so that way the reader will clearly see that there is more content if they click through to the post’s page. But customizing the email beyond what you include in the body of your posts isn’t available right now.
It is intriguing that any post content was not included on the email, however. If a gallery or image is included in the body of a post, they are still visible in the email version. I just did a quick test.
Was there a specific post that caused this problem? If so, please send me the link so I can investigate.
Best,
