Email notifications and category titles

  I want to stop receiving email notifications of blogs I follow without having to unfollow them. I want to be able to read them in my viewer without having to be notified each time they post a new blog post.

  Also, I want to delete a category I created to classify my posts that I will not be using in the future. It simply bothers me to see it appear as an option. I know, first world problem.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Go to the Reader and click on Edit next to Blogs I Follow. Then click on the edit link next to each blog for which you want to disable email notifications. You can also disable all email notifications from your account settings. Detailed information here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#change-your-email-settings

  Also, I want to delete a category I created to classify my posts that I will not be using in the future.

  You can do this from the Categories page in the classic dashboard (http://kaytothecity.wordpress.com/wp-admin/). I’m not sure if you can delete a category with posts in it, so you might need to move the posts to a different category first. You can do this with the bulk editing function on the Posts ->All Posts page in the classic dashboard. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#managing-categories
