email notifications don't work properly; some followers don't get them

My blog has been having problems with the Read More tag, which were confirmed to stem from recent changes in WordPress. Refer here:

I didn’t get a notification either. This is the problematic post:

Any idea? Advice?

Hey there, usually if notifications reach some people but not others, it’s an issue on the subscriber’s end: sometimes they have emails blocked, sometimes they’re subscribed to digests rather than immediate emails, sometimes they get filtered etc.
If you’ll send the addresses of a few folks who had issues, we can check on them. And note you can type the email address here. Only staff will see it. In fact if you want to share the usernames and make them private, too, you could type them like this
(email visible only to moderators and staff)and they’ll be hidden from public view. -

Thanks for the quick response.
I understand that there could be issues with certain services. This is not the issue this time. I am referring to simple email subscribers. Below are two addresses:
(email visible only to moderators and staff) – a colleague who follows the blog closely and didn’t get the notification on Sunday.
(email visible only to moderators and staff) – My own email address. I didn’t get a notification on the new post even though I always do.
btw, I didn’t figure out how to do the email redaction:( Can you explain?

Hi there!
I checked both addresses – we did send an email with that post and our logs show that it was delivered. I’d suggest checking any Spam/Junk folders you have as it might have ended up there. If not, it may be the issue on your email provider’s end – it would be good to reach out to them to check.
If this happens again with the next post, let us know and we’ll have another look.
