email notifications for newly posted posts

Hi, I wrote a blog but the people who want to read it never get notifications if I wrote something new. Yet, a friend of mine has a blog on wordpress, too and I get notifications for her blog but she doesn’t get notifications for mine. could you please help me?

Will you please have your friend log-in an communicate directly with us? Working through others never works well and Staff will need to know which username account is hers and what the email address is. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. In addition to what timethief suggested, I’d recommend you and your friend take a look at our notifications documentation to make sure you have your settings correct to receive notifications of new posts:

Thanks for your help, unfortunately the problem still exists. I’ve checked the support document and I have enabled everything. Yet, all of my followers don’t receive notifications for my blog.

Hello, I am a follower of the blog juliaimfernenaberdeen.wordpress.com. But I don’t get any notifications for it. I have a blog on wordpress which is http://toni22123.wordpress.com/ and all of my followers receive notifications, even Julia, (I did not change any settings for my blog and still all my followers receive notifications) but I don’ get any notifications from her blog.

You get no post and no comment emails for this blog
The blog does show up in your Reader, however.
You can click on “Edit” to change those settings.
