Email notifications in group blogs
-
I participate in two group blogs about Street Art: http://graffsencapitales.wordpress.com/ and http://voyageenephemere.wordpress.com/. It’s a pretty funny experience. The only inconvenient is that as an author (not administrator) I’m not able to choose the kind of email notifications I want. So I receive dozens of “like” notifications in my mailbox I’m not interested in. Did you think about a solution to that?

Hi,
To turn off Like email notifications on your posts, the administrator of the blog can go to Settings -> Discussion, then in the “E-mail me whenever” section, uncheck “Someone likes one of my posts” and click Save Changes.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

The administrator tells me that he can only turn off the Like email notifications to ALL the authors, and can’t do it for a specific author. Is that right?

It would be a great idea to give each author the possibility to control its notifications. Thanks anyway for your response.
