Email notifications not being sent to subscribers

    I have 60-70 people who are subscribed to my blog, but they are NOT receiving emails. They have all confirmed, so they should be getting a notification each time I have a new post – but they don’t. I’m a subscriber and am not getting them either.

    Here’s the interesting thing – when I went to the blog today at 2:19pm (all I did was go to jasonepps.wordpress.com) – I immediately got the email notification.

    Can you please help me? I’d really like my subscribers to get the notifications they are supposed to get when I post!

    Hi there,

    Are you scheduling all of your posts, or are you publishing them immediately?

    If you are scheduling them, then the scheduling apparatus works by publishing your post the first time someone visits your site after you have set it to be published. You can read about it right here:

    I’m having this issue and not with scheduled posts, with all of my posts there are no notifications going out via email.

    Just another note to add, a friend of mine tried re-adding herself to my list, because it’s showing that she can(instead of “You’re following this blog!”) and it said “Your subscription couldn’t be activated, it may be expired”. Not sure what the deal is, but would love to fix it. TIA for whoever has some advice.

    Could you please start a new thread regarding this issue so that anyone who had subscribed does not have to get additional emails as we troubleshoot your issue?
