Email notifications out of control

I’m using jetpack contact form as well as jetpack comments and my complaint i have absolutely no way (none at all) to control to whom the email notifications are sent. Just to be clear — i am talking about the email that i receive that relays the comment or, that relays the contact form data. I have tried deleting and re-creating the contact forms, i have tried disconnecting from jetpack and reconnecting. The email address that is notified is an OLD address that is no longer associated with my wordpress.com account, nor is this address associated in any way with my site’s wp profile (!!!). What could possibly be going on?
