Email notifications re blog posts

Hi there happy engineer!
I just wonder how my followers know when I update my blog as, at the moment, it seems they’re not getting an email to notify them. Or, do they just log in as and when they feel like it?
Also, I’m wondering why it shows I have only 1 follower, when I know there are several who appear to show up as ‘viewers’The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @neversaynevernomad, your followers will get an email if they have that set as their preference. If you have someone expecting an email and not getting one, can you let us know who it is? If you’ll type the email address here, only staff wil be able to see it. We’ll check on that for you.
Noting too, viewers are separate from followers in that you invited them, and they can see your site when it’s private.

For what it’s worth, I spot-checked one viewer. You added them two days ago, but you haven’t published new posts since then.
