email notifications to followers

  Hi, I couldn’t find the answer so here’s my question: When I put up a new post and my followers are notified, the email contains the entire text. I’d rather it didn’t so they need to go to my blog and read it – and maybe read more! And I have seen just a teaser offered from other Word Press blogs. But search as I may, I cannot find a place to go to make this happen for me. Please help!

  Go to your Dashboard>Settings>Reading and change “For each article in a feed, show” from Full text to summary. Click the save button at the bottom.

  You can also use the More tag while writing your post.
