email notifications to followers

  when someone writes a blog post the followers (including me) don’t get notification emails.
  can you please have a look at my settings and see what’s wrong?

  I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please (1) confirm the blog URL and (2) provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as (3) a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  My subscriber emails are also not getting sent today.

  3) I’m not sure what you mean. When the user selects “Follow” he/she is asked to register for a wordpress account. So I guess all followers and authors of my blog have accounts, but none get emails. Can you help me without this information?

  @josef70-

  I just checked your settings and you should be receiving emails instantly for published posts . Please check your spam/junk folder and make sure WordPress is not blacklisted in your email filters. A lot of times I find that is the case.

  As for the other followers, please note that your delivery settings can be edited here:

  http://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  Also please make sure the delivery settings here do not have emails blocked:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/

  Your settings look ok. As a test, I have followed the blog to see if I get the email notifications.

  Please have your subscribers check their settings as well like I mentioned above. If your follower is an email subscriber have them check it here:
