Email notifications to subscribers

In the email notifications of some blogs, there is the blog (or most of it) and a place for Comment, View Comments, and Like. Mine does not include Like. How do I add this? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Thanks for the help, but the Like in the blog is not the one I want to add. I want to add Like into the email that is sent to subscribers when a new blog is posted.
(I’m using a MacBook with High Sierra with OS 10.13.5 and Safari updated.)
This seems like something I could set up, but I’m at a loss.
Again, thanks

You may need to change the Reading Settings page settings to full text, but I don’t know that for sure
For each article in a feed, show
Full text

Hi there,
The new post notification email will only have a Like option if Likes are enabled on the post itself when it is published. This happens automatically, and aside from enabling Likes on the post itself, there’s nothing else you need to do.

Hi timethief and kokkieh,
Nothing I can find or try works except changing from Full post to Post excerpts. Then the options for Like and Comment appear.
However, I’m looking at sites I follow, and these options appear with their Full posts.
I cannot find where to specifically turn on Likes. This is not common, as I am usually quite good at finding my way around the computer, and I’m told by readers that these had previously been there.
What am I overlooking? Thanks!!!

I think I’ll need to see the new post email, so I’ve subscribed to email notifications on your site. Please change back to full post if that’s how you want the emails to go out, and make sure Likes and Comments are enabled with the next post you publish. I’ll receive the email with your next post and will be able to check it there.

Thanks. To the best of my knowledge, Likes and Comments are turned on. This morning I matched my settings with the samples on the Support page, and they are the same. So if there is another way to turn these on, I’m missing it.
In a few moments I’ll publish a short blog, so we can see where we are. I am very grateful for your help and patience.

Hi. It’s posted. On my wife’s subscription email, there is no Like.
Also, if a person simply types in the website, http://www.poppingwheelies.wordpress.com, they get full posts but no Like or Comments.
Thanks! :-)

On my wife’s subscription email, there is no Like.
Does your wife have a WordPress.com account connected to the email address at which she received the email?
I subscribed to your site both via my WordPress.com account, and via an email address not connected to any WordPress.com account. The email to the first shows the like option for me, and the other one doesn’t, which is expected, as Likes are only available to people who are logged into a WordPress.com account.
Also, if a person simply types in the website, http://www.poppingwheelies.wordpress.com, they get full posts but no Like or Comments.
That is supposed to be like that – the Like button and comments only show if you click on a post title to view the post in its own screen, e.g. https://poppingwheelies.wordpress.com/2018/06/27/a-safe-port-if-you-need-it/, but they don’t show on the posts on the front page listing all posts.
You can change your site’s settings at My Site ->Sharing so the Like and sharing buttons should show on the front page, but comments will never be visible there.

Oh, you are good. I “think” we have what we need. Thank you for the explanation, as well.
It has been a pleasure working with you. Thanks to you and timethief.
