Email Option

  It would be nice if there was away to add emails to your Blog that you want people see New Post, without them saying Follow. As well as when they receive the New Post, they have the option to Not Receive the Blog Post any more.
  Some people want, or do not or will not do the Follow which means they have to go and visit the Blog first to start Following. I use this as a ministry tool, some people need a Word of Encouragement without trying to find it.
  This is for the Free Blog, not the self hosting, which I know nothing about.

  You can add an email sharing icon (email a friend) that will display below your posts. See here https://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/#customize-your-services

  re: unsubscribing
  Sometimes followers ask us to remove their email address. Is that the case here?

  Your followers control their own subscriptions – you don’t and can’t do this for them. Here are brief instructions for unsubscribing from a blog if the person has a WordPress.com username account:

  1. click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts received at the very bottom of the emails.
  2. go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/ locate and click the “x” next to any blog there to unfollow it and no longer receive posts in the Reader or by email.
  3. go to the blog in question and click the unfollow/follow link on your Admin bar.

  If the persons does not have a WordPress.com username account then 1. applies.
  1. click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts received at the very bottom of the emails.

  What I would like is to be able to add email followers my self so they would receive New Post. I do not want to do a Massive Bulk thing, just to some people who need a Word of Encouragement.
