  Is there an email configuration I can use on my website that is free?

  The one I downloaded (Ninja) says I have to put in my credit card information.

  If there are free ones, what’s recommended for a nonprofit blog?

  Hi there,

  Of what site are you speaking? The forum you’re posting in now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. To have email with us, you first need to have a domain connected to your site, and the account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any domain upgrades with us.

  If this is for a site hosted somewhere else, the WordPress.org community provides support for the version of WordPress you’re using on that site at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  That said, the only custom email service I know of that has a free option is Zoho mail, so you can take a look at the options they have available.

  As my colleague mentioned, Zoho is an option.

  Another option is to contact HostGator’s support team to see what they recommend since that is who you are paying for website hosting and support.
