email plugin

Hi Andrea,
It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:
However, if you’re looking for a widget to collect email addresses, you could use our Follow Blog widget as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
Would that work for what you’re looking for?

thanks I just know the difference between com and org I have a self hosted web site on wordpress platform. I don’t want to collect email but to insert in the menu the possibility to send me an email

Ah! Now, I understand. You would like to add the option to email you to your menu. That’s definitely possible! To do that, follow these instructions to create a custom link your menu:
In the URL field, enter the following address:
mailto:(email visible only to moderators and staff)Then, whenever someone clicks the link the menu, an email field will pop up in their preferred email client.
I also see you’ve been able to add a contact form to your site. That’s another awesome way to allow your readers to get in touch!
Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi Andrea,
Are you referring to this post?
If so, I’m only seeing one image on my side now (I removed the one in the post). If you’re referring to a different post, can you shoot over a link?
