Email post to subscribers is full of code
-
The email post notifying subscribers of a new post or a changed post seems to be displayed in different ways, depending on how it is received.
In my email I get a mess of code at the very top of the email, for example:
<img border=”0″ class=”head-avatar” src=’https://s-ssl.wordpress.com/i/emails/blavatar-default.png’ alt=” / style=”vertical-align: middle; margin: 5px 20px 5px 0; vertical-align: middle;”>
I also get a broken image.
A subscriber wrote and sent me a screen print showing that all she gets is a mess of code with a link to the new post buried in there somewhere if you look closely enough.
How can we modify the email post that goes to subscribers informing them of a new or changed post.
Thank you.

Can your email client or webmail process HTML email? It sounds like that’s the problem.
What are you using to read your email?
