  Hi,

  Is there a way to stop the blog from sending out email updates to my followers for every post? I have more of a news blog, meaning I post multiple times a day and I’m sure this gets annoying and might make people want to unfollow. I have a wordpress.com account; is there a way to stop sending emails for each post and instead do something like a daily newsletter?

  Hi Elly,

  I’m sorry, but there wouldn’t be a way to do that as following a blog is asking to get email notification of every new post.

  The only way you can stop email notifications from going out is to set your site to private, but that would make it impossible for people to view your site.

  Your followers have the option to choose a daily/weekly option instead of instant post email notifications. What you can do is send out a post notifying them of this option. Have them check their Blogs you Follow email notifications by going here:
