Email problems
-
Hi,
I can’t remember the password to my gmail account that is linked to my wordpress. I have tried changing the email address but I guess the confirmation email is still sent to my old email. I have just set up a new site but I can’t access it as the password change email is being sent to my gmail. Can I change the email without needing to login to my old email?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It seems that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com but a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software.
Name Servers
NS1.DREAMHOST.COM
NS2.DREAMHOST.COM
NS3.DREAMHOST.COMFor security reasons, the user must click the confirmation link in order to update the email address. If you have access to the database via phpMyAdmin, you can try to update the email address directly: https://cinchws.com/change-wordpress-admin-email-without-confirmation/#db-admin.
For self-hosted WordPress questions, you’re recommended to post them at the WordPress.org forum and seek help from the experts and volunteer members there. You may need to register an account if you don’t already have one.

Please be informed that the staff and members of this forum could only help you out with support topics related to WordPress.com sites but not self-hosted WordPress sites as they’re separate entities and independent from each other.

Hope this helps.
