  Fasthosts are our domain hosts and email hosts, having transferred these from Reg-123.

  We linked the domain name (www.best-house.co.uk) so that our WordPress site would display on this, however since this, we have not been able to send or receive emails to our emails @best-house.co.uk

  Having contacted fasthosts we changed our MX servers to your servers however they are still not pointing and were asked to contact WordPress.

  We require use of our email asap so please help! We would also like to receive emails through our gmail accounts and any assistance setting this up with the WordPress settings would be very helpful as we only have experience in setting these up with Reg-123 and Fasthosts.

  Hi there!

  We’ll need to gather the custom DNS records from your email provider in order to connect your domain up with them. You can find more information on DNS records here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/

  Do you have this information available? If not, can you let me know who your current email provider is? I’ll see if I can help with pointing you in the right direction to find them.

  The provider was originally reg123 however I changed this to fasthosts.

  Based on the records you provided, I followed our guide on adding custom DNS records to add the records shown in the following screenshot:

  Can you let me know if your email is working successfully after these changes? Please bear in mind that new changes to a domain can take a few hours to propagate and take effect.

  Perfect! One hopefully final question, what settings are required to attach the email to Gmail?

  ie pop server, TLS or SSL connection and which port?!

  If you’d like to view your emails from your gmail account, then you can follow the steps to import email from a different email provider here:
  https://support.google.com/mail/answer/21289

  I’m afraid I’m limited in how I can help with the needed details for that as you’re dealing with two third-party providers outside of WordPress.com. If you have questions while setting that up then I’d recommend contacting your email provider, Fasthosts, directly.
