Email received-website not attractive

  • Unknown's avatar

I received an email from Word Press stating my website is not attractive and being that I am new to this, have no idea how to correct the issue.

    Please assist.

    Respectfully,

I am not sure why wordpress would send you that email, it does look like you have not finished the website and are still working on it. Before you publish it is best to finish the website but I would check the email and make sure it isn’t spam. I would not worry about it, you simple need to finish and add your content

  • Hi @bjklas

From what I can see the site barbhorneronlinemarketing.com is hosted with GoDaddy, and not a site that is hosted directly with WordPress.com. Additionally I can confirm that the email you describe is definitely not something we send to our site owners.

Instead what you describe sounds like spam to me and can safely be ignored. If you would like to be sure you can check in the forum here, which is where you can find help for self-hosted websites, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.

    https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

The folks at that forum may be able to help though I suspect they will also find that this is spam and not a direct issue with your site.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!

I don’t bring up anything when put in my site other than my name and says to post something.
I didn’t sign up with Go Daddy. I went through Blue Host for set up. They are hosting the account.
I put in a call for assistance.
    Thank you for the input.
