email replying to commenters

  Before I could approve a comment and then I would receive an email with the commenter’s name and when I would hit reply it would automatically be set up to reply to that commenter’s email. Now after I approve a comment, I get emails from:

  From: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  and when I hit reply it will go to:
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  This just happened today. Anyone else having these problems? This is not the first time the reply emails have been messed up and I don’t think that wordpress accidentally wants to receive a bunch of emails from bloggers trying to to reply to their commenters.

  I wonder if this is a change in WordPress’s features. So far, I’m not thrilled with this whether it’s a problem or a change. I like to see who the comments are from when they arrive in my mail program and I can no longer do so. I haven’t replied directly but have been copying and pasting commenters’ addresses. Irritating, to say the least.
