I manage a custom WordPress site I designed and that was developed by a very experienced guy I have worked with for many years. We can not figure out what is going on here. There are two places on the site where there is an email link to the secretary of the organization. When she receives the test emails in her AOL account that we have been sending her from the two links and tries to reply, the send to address is: (email visible only to moderators and staff), not the email address of the person who she is trying to respond to. We are also testing this to my developer’s email and it works fine.

Does anyone have any idea how this can be happening? There is no such email address set up on the host server.

Okay, my question makes no sense with the email redacted. The email address in the Send to is: (redacted)

    Hi –

Our software redacts any personal information, like an email address, by default. These are public forums that get indexed by search engines. Staff at WordPress.com are the only folks who can see that email address.

What is the URL of the site in question? Thanks.
